Thank you to all of the youth that participated in our recent YEP! I’LL BE THERE Youth Retreat. The youth shared many laughs and met new friends as they learned more about epilepsy as well as helpful, healthy tools for living with epilepsy. What are some of the things the youth said about the Retreat? Take a look:
- “I didn’t know anyone with epilepsy before YEP! It’s been really nice to meet other people with epilepsy."
- “I feel less alone now and more accepted."
- “I LOVED the retreat!"
The weekend was a success as many of the youth left feeling empowered to be Epilepsy Warriors.

- “The YEP retreat was very well done. My child went the first day very anxious and nervous. They couldn’t even get their name tag on they were trembling. They came home and they were so excited to tell us about it. Sunday, they couldn’t wait to get there again. They came home that evening, saying they wish it were everyday. “
- “My child has had a rough go, but I was happy to see this brighten their day. Thank you sooo very much for the retreat, very well done, and very beneficial for the children."
