She is excited to join our team and continue to follow her passion in Health Education and Support.
Amanda Ing is joining our team in Windsor and is workin with Christine to provide services. Amanda Ing, an Ontario Certified Teacher, is a native of Windsor, Ontario. She is excited about her new role at Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario, and about becoming part of such a wonderful team.
She has lived in the United States and South Korea as an expatriate and spent most of her time teaching and volunteering in international organizations. In her role as Newcomer and Hospitality Chair of an International Women's Association, she provided transition support for new families and developed networking events where women could feel at home and part of the local community while overseas. Her board and committee work have generated significant funding for charitable organizations both home and abroad.
When not working, she enjoys cooking new foods, playing mahjong, and hanging out with her husband and three daughters. In the words of one of her twin daughters, she “fixes everything when everyone else is a disaster".
Amanda is an alumna of the University of Windsor, where she received two Bachelor Degrees in Criminology and Education respectively.
