Windsor’s Seize the Day Thank You

On behalf of Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario, we would like to personally thank everyone for their contributions to our 2nd Annual Seize the Day Event in Windsor Essex.

Together, approximately 160 participants raised over $20,000.00 towards ESWO’s support and education programs in Windsor Essex. Thank you so much everyone for your hard work and dedication. Fantastic job!

Our 2nd Annual Seize the Day Event took place on Saturday, September 16, 2018, at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex in LaSalle. It was a beautiful, sunny and balmy day and many families and individuals joined us for a fun 5K run and 2.5K walk. The event also included a Kiddie Trot, community BBQ, splash pad, music, face painting, entertainment and door prizes. AM800 CKLW’s Kara Ro kicked off the event with LaSalle Deputy Mayor Mark Bondy and, Shawn Wilkie shared his story about how epilepsy affects his life.
