SUMMARY:UPLIFT for Adults
DESCRIPTION:UPLIFT is a free\, eight-week skill-building program to support people in developing coping strategies to deal with stress\, through mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. Participants meet once a week for one hour with groups of 5-8 people over Zoom. Commitment to attend each session is required to benefit from the program\, as well as to ensure the group dynamic remains intact.  \nESWO will host an UPLIFT session for adults who are living with epilepsy.  \nEmail holly@epilepsyswo.ca to register.

DESCRIPTION:Join ESWO’s Holly O’Neill\, Dr. Andrea Andrade\, Dr. Maryam Nouri\, Dr. Sandrine deRibaupierre\, and Michelle Kregel NP\, in the viewing of “Seizing Hope”. Seizing Hope is a 30-minute documentary that follows stories of four families with children who have pediatric Drug-Resistant Epilepsy (DRE)\, to shed light on their journey\, while educating families and doctors on the options offered by different technologies\, specifically for the brain\, in complement or as an alternative to treatment with medication.
