SUMMARY:Purple Nation Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:We are now offering the ESWO Purple Nation Summer Camp\, available to children and youth between the ages of 4-12 years living with epilepsy in Southwestern Ontario\, as well as their siblings. This is a full-day camp. \nThere will be lots of fun activities\, chances to meet other children with epilepsy\, and opportunities to be active outdoors. Rest assured that all staff and volunteers will be trained in seizure first aid\, so your children can join us for a safe and enjoyable summer where seizures are no big deal.

SUMMARY:UPLIFT for Caregivers
DESCRIPTION:UPLIFT is a free\, eight-week skill-building program to support people in developing coping strategies to deal with stress\, through mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. Participants meet once a week for one hour with groups of 5-8 people over Zoom. Commitment to attend each session is required to benefit from the program\, as well as to ensure the group dynamic remains intact.  \nESWO will host an UPLIFT session for those who are caregivers of individuals living with epilepsy.  \nEmail Sandra@epilepsyswo.ca or Lori@epilepsyswo.ca to register.
