SUMMARY:UPLIFT for Adults
DESCRIPTION:UPLIFT is a free\, eight-week skill-building program to support people in developing coping strategies to deal with stress\, through mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy. Participants meet once a week for one hour with groups of 5-8 people over Zoom. Commitment to attend each session is required to benefit from the program\, as well as to ensure the group dynamic remains intact.  \nESWO will host an UPLIFT session for adults who are living with epilepsy.  \nEmail holly@epilepsyswo.ca to register.

SUMMARY:Virtual Caregiver Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Making connections and building meaningful relationships can be an important part of living a happy and healthy life. Epilepsy can sometimes pose a barrier for people and make it more challenging to establish meaningful relationships. Our virtual support group meets bi-weekly on Mondays from 6:00 -7:00 pm \nThis is a drop-in group with weekly planned topics to facilitate conversation about issues that are important to people living with epilepsy. Our hope is to provide a space for our community members to meet others with epilepsy and have an opportunity to share their experiences and coping strategies.
